Goddess,

I come to you not begging, but standing

Not defenseless, but guarded

I ask for aid, yes, but not for solutions

Goddess of Rebirth,

I ask you for heart

The courage to keep on

The insanity to walk forward.

Goddess of Snakes,

I ask not for the solution to my problems

But for strength instead, and courage

To take them in my own hands, and succeed

Goddess of Spirals

I will not kneel to you

Instead I walk toward you

For what reason is there to beg?

Goddess of Life,

Your sword to my heart

Your armor to my soul

May you lend me your courage in this.
